To the American Bahá’í community for the Feast of Jamál
Dearest Bahá’í Friends,
As the joyous 12-day Festival of Ridván commenced a week ago, the Bahá’í world welcomed with great gladness of heart the Universal House of Justice’s annual message timed for the occasion.
Though many of you have already taken time to study and reflect on it, you will no doubt readily recognize that, as we complete this first year of a Five Year Plan that will conclude the first century of the Faith’s Formative Age, the House of Justice’s message warrants a careful shared reading by the entire Bahá’í community, and Feast provides a perfect opportunity to do so.
We therefore strongly recommend that the Supreme Body’s message be read and discussed during the time customarily set aside at Feast for the sharing of and consultation on our monthly letter. Though it was previously circulated to the community, we have attached the message for your convenience.
We close with warmest and most affectionate Ridván greetings and with our best wishes for a richly rewarding Feast experience.
With loving Bahá’í regards, NATIONAL SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE BAHÁ’ÍS OF THE UNITED STATES ![]() Kenneth E. Bowers Secretary
