Dog Days First Friday September 2016.
Well the dog days were in effect, but not weather wise. For the Bahá’ís of Blueridge Cluster the weather was a wonderful mix of sun and the hint of fall to come.
We set-up our booth (slot 40 was assigned this year/month) at Main and 4th street, in downtown Warrenton VA. We provided charts on the Bahá’í Faith, informational packets, bookmarks, business cards, and the ever popular 'No Room In My Heart for Prejudice' stickers.
Those stickers would draw people from all over the Festival, allowing us to promote the ideal of Unity to all who attend. Some stuck around to ask questions concerning our devotion to the ideal of peace and equality. Some stopped to ask questions about our Faith, and some stopped by to treat their K-9 with water and a dog biscuit. So much energy was invested in this day that it energized those who were going to the Taste of the Mountains Festival the next day in Madison County! Our Cluster's activity capacity level seem to be growing, as does the number of activities being set-up and attended!
